After many years hosting clothes parties, we have gained a keen understanding of the various needs of residents, providing a wide choice of different styles.
We cater for all tastes and it is not uncommon for staff to find items they purchase for themselves.
We aim for our clothes parties to be friendly, social, engaging and ultimately fun events, that wherever possible actively involve the residents in choosing what they would like to wear.
Preparation
For those homes where residents live with dementia, prior to the party date we work with the activities coordinator, to confirm with relatives that purchases can be made and where necessary working with staff who best know the residents requirements and their personal tastes in clothes.
Consideration
Where residents rely on extra care for conditions such as dementia, physical or learning difficulties our range includes items that have stretchy fabrics with easy fastening, facilitating easy assisted dressing.
